As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing we've worked to maximise the benefits of your holiday to local people and places, and minimise any negative impacts.
Planet
WaterWe believe that reusable bottles are very important for health and always encourage our tourists to minimize the use of plastic bags, plates, bottles etc. In Georgia and Armenia we drink water from the tap and pour water from mountain springs. Each day of the tour we also provide our travelers with water only filled in glass bottles.
Wildlife
The countries attract travelers by their fantastic beauty, traditions and heritage. It’s our responsibility to encourage our travelers to avoid littering, damaging flowers and trees, as well as to respect wildlife so on.
Energy
We try to limit our impact on our surroundings as much as possible. We always ask our tourists to turn off equipment and lights when not in use or when they leave the room.
In our offices, we operate mainly with computers. All of our invoices, travel information and travel documents to our clients are issued as PDF - not printed on paper.
New is not always better – the traditional method of line-drying the clothing is much better for the environment. In order to save energy we encourage our tourists to use the line-drying method instead of dryer. We always ask our tourists to leave their electronics unplugged at all times, unless they’re actually using them.
People
We promise to support the local community of every destination we take our travelers to. We are interested in supporting local culture and local craft makers. During the tour we have stops at the local markets where you can wander through the aisles of locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. Guests eat at local restaurants where the majority of the food is organic and locally sourced. The wonderful thing about this kind of interactive tourism is that everyone gains – the locals financially, and our clients with the unique experience and social interaction.Discover the highlights of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia on this 17 day tour of Baku, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Vardzia, Kazbegi and more. We always employ a local tour leader and local guides as we want to show you as much of the real country as we can. In the countries this benefits all businesses that we interact with.
We always inform our tourists about local customs and traditions thus to minimize the risk of misunderstanding with locals and disrespectful behavior in religious places.
On all of our holidays we respect the privacy of the local people. We will never photograph anyone without their permission and will ensure our guests are sensitive to the privacy of the local community.
