The most exciting part of the holiday was visiting Angkor Wat and other temples. My favorite one was Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider temple). I felt like I was in an adventure movie! Read full review

All of (the holiday was memorable) but I guess the best was Ankor Wat and the hidden 5th entrance which was really interesting as no-one apart from our small group saw this. Read full review

Excellent! Cambodia is a great place to visit and we were looked after with great care and attention - and had lots of laughs. Our guide was particularly keen to emphasise the use of local expertise and the emphasis on supporting environmental projects. Read full review

Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) holiday so that you can travel knowing we've worked to maximise the benefits of your holiday to local people and places, and minimise any negative impacts.

Planet

On this trip you are joined by a leader throughout and local guides along the way who are always eager to share information about their country and culture, and help you break down barriers in your interactions with local people.

The ruins of Angkor are protected under UNESCO World Heritage listing and as such, part of the money received from entrance tickets contributes to the amazing site’s conservation. Your local guide will also give you plenty of guidance on what is appropriate when visiting the ruins and you will have the chance to interact with many of the local kids.

Travellers will have the option of visiting the land mine museum in Siem Reap and any donations are gratefully accepted. Also in Siem Reap, there is a local children’s hospital where the local kids put on a show on some nights. All money and blood donations are for the hospital and provide free services for children from the area. As a company we aim to contribute to the environmental preservation of the destinations we visit and to reduce any negative impacts our operations may have. This translates to actions such as using local transport where safe to do so in order to reduce emissions, observing all national and marine park visitor rules and operating a ‘take in, take back out’ waste management system, to name but a few examples. Through our inhouse foundation we also invest money into environmental initiatives that benefit the planet, including restoring kelp forests to help reverse the effects of global warming and protecting endangered species such as sea turtles and elephants.
