I thought the bog walk (the one using the bog shoes as opposed to the one on the boardwalks) was a unique and amazing experience. I loved the dune and beach walk. Read full reviewReviewed on 09 Oct 2019 by Victoria Griffiths
The most exciting part of the holiday was seeing a moose, all the wonderful nature, wildlife and different habitats. Read full reviewResponsible Travel

Planet
We visit the Curonian Spit National Park, a 98km long peninsular and UNESCO World Heritage site which is shared by Lithuania and Russia and whom are jointly responsible for protecting it. The designation ensures the conservation of the rare ecosystems of this area through preventing development and regulating construction to limit the interaction between people and the environment. In addition the Curonian Spit is only reached by ferry on the Lithuanian side decreasing ease of access and footfall. As a travel company we are continually looking for ways to improve and are proud to be ‘Responsible in everything we do’. Education is key, and so all staff, Tour Leaders and partnering suppliers are trained in responsible and sustainable tourism. At our Head Office, we continually strive towards a sustainable and planet-friendly working environment, including having solar panels installed and a company commitment to reducing our plastic usage.
People
We explore the UNESCO Wold Heritage 'Old Towns' of Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius on foot, admiring the traditional medieval architecture and gain an understanding of the impact that soviet rule had in this area.In Lahemaa National Park we visit a 400-year old fishing village and learn the traditional way of bog walking used by the inhabitants of this village to get around. We are briefed a local guide and provided with specially adapted shoes which enable us to step back in time and walk through the ecosystem learning about the flora, fauna and folklore.
As a company we have valuable and longstanding partnerships with UK charities Toilet Twinning and Send a Cow, plus many smaller initiatives and projects around the world. We’re members of the UK travel industry body AITO because we believe it’s important to share our knowledge and experience, as well as learn from other operators.
