Planet
French Polynesia islands are small diverse natural paradises. Keeping them unspoiled is our duty and this is the reason that we are trying to cruise less hrs. possible. In addition, the size of our sailing yacht, with only 25 Ocean View cabins, matches the natural environment and does not spoil the surroundings. During our cruises, we are coordinating where possible, clean beach-ups and we join hands with 4OCEAN whose professional cleanup crews have recovered millions of pounds of plastic and debris since 2017. From small steps that include protecting cultural heritage and visiting UNESCO sites, to actively engaging with research on biodegradable materials and protecting sea-life while supporting the health of the oceans; efforts have always been proactive. Our sailing yacht abide by safety measures classified by the latest International “Safety of Life at Sea” (SOLAS) standards and thanks to our participation to Tourism Declares Climate Emergency, we have committed to an action plan which will be published early 2022, protecting the environment. This plan includes among others the use of best diesel oil, reducing plastic waste via our single use plastic reduction plan, ethical food sourcing, while adhering to the most stringent policies on waste management; all in all developing a concise plan that will lower carbon emissions.People
This cruise combines amazing natural landscapes with the opportunity to visit various islands, meet the locals and learn about everyday life and culture. In Bora Bora, we organize a cultural tour to meet the inland and come together with the locals, all organized by our local suppliers and guide. In Taha'a, we visit a local pearl farm and a traditional vanilla plantation where people there will share their everyday working habits and the mysteries of their business! The guided tour at the open air Temple of Taputapuatea, a Unesco Heritage site, will reveal the history of the area and the Polynesian origins and a kayak tour of the Faaroa river, all led by local river guides, will get you closer to Raiatea's verdant interior. Also during the trip, we are organizing a theme night with traditional dances so that you get together with the locals and their way of celebrating and having fun!Popular similar holidays
