It was an amazing experience and a holiday too. We fell in love with Costa Rica, its people, food, and wildlife. Tortuguero was amazing and we got up really close to a sloth. Memorable parts? There were so many highlights it is hard to choose but if we had to pick one, it would be seeing pumas and an anteater up close in the Corcovado National Park. It was an incredible day that will stay with us for ever. Tips? Take warm clothes if you are going to the cloud forest as the temperature there is about 15 degrees lower than in the rainforest and it gets particularly chilly at night. Memorable parts? Being so close to the nature and people as we travelled along was wonderful. It was far more relaxing than I thought it would be. Tips? You don't need to be a regular cyclist to take this holiday. However, maybe if you have not ridden for a number of years a bit of training before you start will make things easier.
