Hikes in the high Tatras, and the Tatra mountain tramway2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Don't be misled by the 'Easy to Moderate' tag - some of the walks, while not long, were quite strenuous with steep ascents/descents over very rocky terrain. Compared to, say, Exodus, Headwater or HF Holiday grading I would label these as moderate.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes - we stayed in a small independent pension and ate in local restaurants. The ecological regulations (eg no swimming in lakes) were clearly explained.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Generally excellent. The leader and guide went out of her way to help, including arranging individual transport to and from the train station. Personally, as a solo traveler, I found time in the late afternoons/evenings sometimes hung a bit heavy, and would have welcomed more structure at these times. Of course, I knew this was likely before I booked so can't complain. But next time I might look for a holiday with evening meals included.Jade Amias review 24 May 2024

Yes. I loved that they used local small business and the guide is a local.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
