1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Amman was a great surprise and warranted more time. Petra complex was so much more than just the treasury.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Keep your expectations low for accommodation in Wadi Rum. Don’t bother with a trip to Dana village.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, definitely.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Great overall. It was such a comfort to know that someone else had already worked out all of the logistics and timings so that we did not have to think about it - we just went with the flow.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Jerash and Petra visits with excellent guides.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

If you stop at Madaba to see the mosaic map at St George's, in addition do go and see the Church of the Beheading of John the Baptist. Go up the Bell Tower and down in to the crypt as well. As well as the views and layers of history, the old photos at St John's show what the region was like only 100 years ago. Don't make the time to do the Petra by Night experience, it wasn't as magical as I thought it'd be.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Our holiday benefitted local people because so many visitors have cancelled their trips due to the conflict in Israel and Gaza.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent. Jordan feels safe and is safe and I would encourage people to be brave and go and spend time with the very hospitable Jordanians.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Seeing The Treasury emerge from between the rocks of the Siq....

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Forget all of your preconceptions about security and risk in Jordan. This is probably the most peaceful and the safest place I have visited. Safer than France, Belgium, the UK....... You can wander the streets alone quite safely. Wish I had stayed longer. Just go.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Tourism is down about 80% due to Jordan's "noisy neighbours" so the local economy needs your cash!

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

One of the best.
