Memorable parts? Some really tough, challenging rides. Very rewarding. Tips? Make sure you understand what's involved, try cycling 100 miles two or three times before booking Local benefits? Hard to say. I think recycling, reducing plastic waste e.g. by encouraging us to bring our own mugs and separating foil from non recyclables would have been more environmentally friendly.
