1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Visiting Angkor Wat and other temples. My favorite one was Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider temple). I felt like I was in an adventure movie!

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Bring mosquito spray, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. It gets hot and humid in Cambodia.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We visited a wildlife conservation center, and bought food and gifts from local businesses, so I think the community benefited from our visit.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

I had a great time in Cambodia, my expectations were exceeded. People were always kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

All of it but I guess the best was Ankor Wat and the hidden 5th entrance which was really interesting as no-one apart from our small group saw this.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Be prepared to be challenged especially crossing the roads in Cambodia.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes in the way local training restaurants were used and the gift of bags to reduce our use of plastic. The use of local guides must have helped local people.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Tiring as it was so so hot but really worthwhile, the guides were so informative and being local helped.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Difficult to choose - the temples at Angkor were amazing but the optional trip to the Tonle Sap lake and floating village was equally memorable. The latter also took you away from mass tourism which was a welcome change.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Consider adding a day at the beginning and/or end of the tour. You'll have a chance to settle in at the beginning so it doesn't feel rushed and at the end you can spend the extra day back at Angkor (you get a 3-day pass but only use 2 on the tour) or taking an optional excursion - as we did.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The meals included in the tour were all at training restaurants where local people were learning skills and good practice in different aspects of catering and hospitality. The standards were very high. Our guide was particularly keen to emphasise the use of local expertise and the emphasis on supporting environmental projects.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Excellent! Cambodia is a great place to visit and we were looked after with great care and attention - and had lots of laughs.
