1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
There were so many. We loved the whale watching and horse riding addition that we did. The Grand Canyon was amazing, as was Yosemite.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
That San Francisco is cooler, so remember to pack some suitable clothing whilst there. Brush up on driving in the USA and make sure that the hire company give you enough information on the car that you have. 'Here's, the brake, this is how you turn it on and off you go' really isnt enough!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
In some ways, we tried to be conscious of this at all times.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

I'm sorry you felt that the trip did not benefit local people or reduce environmental impact. It is difficult to find sustainable option on this kind of trip in the US. However, we did book ‘man-powered’ excursions, including an electric bike tour, bike hire and a kayaking trip. The kayak tour company also undertake community outreach programs, beach clean-ups and donations to local non-profits.
