The safari itself, what we saw and experienced, the care of our driver and
guide. We had a great time, all the time, and fulfilled what we planned the safari to be. (more)Ronit Lombrozo

Memorable parts?
Being so close to so many wild animals, especially lions, elephants, leopards and farting hippos.
Tips?
It’s fantastic but you spend a lot of time in your vehicle, with no opportunity to walk apart from in the camps. The roads can be very rough.
Local benefits?
Yes. We stayed in very comfortable lodges and camps run by Tanzanian companies and we also had an opportunity to visit a Masai village for a fee that went directly to them. The included park ... (more)Nick Rogers
There is so much to choose from!!! If I had to pick one thing it would be the people- the local Tanzanians, the in holiday support (who we couldn't live without)
and the other volunteers who were there at the same time. The best thing we have ever done!!! We can't wait to go back! (more)Louisa Davidson

Ten out of ten! We were made to feel welcome from the very start and felt that all the projects that we were involved in were so worthwhile. We were really
impressed by the professionalism and dedication of Graham and Claire and, at the same time, their friendliness and warmth. They are 100% committed to the
local community. (more)Diarmuid Crowley

Be prepared for the slower pace of life. The Swahili phrase “pole pole” meaning slowly, slowly is very appropriate. A meal may take more than an hour to
arrive but it will be fresh.

Most of it was both memorable and exciting. The gorilla trek was extremely tough but worth it and an adventure in its own right. Four days in Ruaha Park in Tanzania brought a huge number of sightings at close proximity as well as wonderful accommodations that we will remember forever. (more)S Zimmerman
Great safari. We were five adults and had a blast. Our guide was very informative and patient with us. Special thanks to Ann. Answered all my questions and accommodated all the last minute changes when we could add our son-in-law to the trip and when our flight got cancelled the day before the trip started! (more)Athar Baig

I got to do all that I wanted to do for this trip and more. Having a local's expertise during the planning stages of the trip made the difference because they know the lay of the land and what works and doesn't which would help you in creating the prefect itinerary.
Tips?
Just do it, you won't regret it. Bring your sense of adventure and lots of patience. The animals after all don't know you have a schedule to follow.

Biking itself and meeting the locals on the way was fascinating enough, but camping on Masai grounds and talk to the villagers was a bonus on top. I definitely enjoyed the variety of biking tracks and terrains and the game drives were fantastic.
Tips?
Well, be in good condition, have a bit of biking practise beforehand and go for some uphills. Otherwise you will struggle a bit... Bring a camera with a decent zoom. If you want luxury this is not for you! ... (more)Roman Holderbach
