Fabulous. The whole tour was well organised with transportation and hotels as well as trips.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
That credit card payments are widely accepted.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, we went to both a chocolate and a coffee plantation and the purchases on f products went to the local population4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

The adventure sections, especially white river rafting and canyoning. Also loved seeing sloths!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Be aware that the holiday is actually quite expensive when all the costs are included - very few activities were included in the original cost.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
A little (especially the coffee plantation and the national parks) but it could have been better, perhaps with homestays and/or cooking courses.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The wonderful variety of natural environments we visited full of birds, lizards, snakes and especially the sightings of sloths. Each location visited had its own unique character, be it rain or could forest, wetlands, river systems or coastal beaches. Our tour leader and group members were exceptional, with wide age range who all got along well. There we opportunities to join various optional activities or organise you own interesting activity.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
I travelled light with a back pack and noticed most had large bags/suitcases and this is cumbersome when on the move & in uneven terrain. Have layers of clothing especially for the cold of the high mountains & a good weather proof light rain jacket. I had bird binoculars so wonderful views of birds. We had a great photographer in our group which was a bonus. Arrive day before and stay day later if you can so less rushed and San Jose worth a walking tour. Budget for the optional tours and Costa Rica can be expensive so be prepared.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Obviously tourism contributes hugely to the Costa Rica economy and there has been both government and local commitments to ensuring a unique conservation of natural environments that also protect a wonderful array of wildlife. A number of the activities supported conservation with an educational component. Cost of living is expensive so one wonders about the impact of many local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
This was an exceptional holiday immersed in nature. I especially enjoyed the many hours looking at birds and identifying birds from the Cost Rica bird book.Jolanta Weiss review 8 Jun 2023

The longest and highest Zipline in Central America, snorkeling in the Caribbean Coast, the 2 nights in the rainforest and more … 15 days of pure joy and happiness!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
This is a very active type of vacation. I'm 60 but in pretty good shape so I didn't have any problem to keep up with the group and enjoy almost all of the activities but it takes some effort to packing and unpacking because we've been traveling around the country and every 2 days you stay in different place.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes .I do feel that the tourists are very important for this beautiful country.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Yes. Local guides were used and local people benefitted in other ways. Everyone on the trip was aware of environmental issues.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
