Memorable parts? West Africa is very different from the other parts of Africa that I have visited. It was very interesting to see this completely different culture. Most memorable, but not in a good way - definitely the hotels which which were by far the most awful that I have ever stayed in. Tips? Make sure that you get a full and un-sanitised itinerary.
