Senegal holidays
It’s West African, it’s French, it’s coastal, it’s musical and right now, it’s very hot as a new destination to discover. Senegal holidays & Senegal tours have a vibrant mixture of modern West Africa in Dakar, French history in stylish St. Louis, village life peppering the shores of the palm fringed Senegal River, old colonial fortifications at Podor, & everywhere prolific wildlife. Birdsong fills the hills & Senegal songs fill the towns.

Tips?
Make sure you’re happy with the longish drives between some of the destinations (we thought they were worth it but they can seem long and you can’t play on your phone!). Carry notes of different value, ready for tipping. Have a pair of socks ready when visiting mosques.

Excellent. Just excellent. The tour guide, Assan Saine, was easily one of the best guides I’ve ever had and made sure that each of us had the special experience we were hoping for. I would definitely return to The Gambia. Thanks to Responsible Travel for introducing this tour to me and indeed, all my tours! (more)Shawna Turner
