The amazing views.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Train well for it, parts are very steep, both up and down and this is 10x harder than a level walk.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I think the cumulative affect on local economy is significant, I don't know about "supported conservation" but I can't see any downside or damage.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

The whole holiday was amazing but the biggest surprise was the walled medieval city of Hondarribia, where we stayed in the 16th century castle which is now a Parador. The operator added it to their "standard" itinerary for us.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Take great care about the walking distances, and in particular the ups and downs. We met a lot of people who were really struggling. I walked the Carmino Frances a few years ago and it is much easier largely because it is far more flat3. Very much so - we used local hotels, ate in local restaurants, walked a lot etc etc etc4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Break in new shoes, buy good new socks, be prepared for a few lengthy uphill stretches and enjoy! Buen Camino!!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
By definition, walking is the most environmentally-sensitive way to travel. It also reinforces our connection with nature. The hotels and guest houses along the way were independent and run by local people, so it felt good to make a contribution to the local economy4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
