North Macedonia holidays

A small country, once part of former Yugoslavia which, unlike its neighbours, has no coastline. But Macedonia holidays do offer the hiking heavens of the Sar Mountain massif, stunning lakelands with traditional waterside towns such as Mavrovo and its eponymous national park. As well as some of Europe’s most well kept ancient heritage, from the old Ottoman market and ancient Kale Fortress in its capital Skopje to the extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Site city of Ohrid.
