The whole trip was AMAZING! It’s hard to pick out a best bit. Clear blue skies after fresh snow on day 1 led to perfect conditions for all our activities. Building a quinzee and sleeping in it was definitely a unique experience that I will never forget. (more)Jo B

There were many moments, but kayaking at Vrango Island, Sweden was a highlight.Oh, forgot about staying in cabins in Gudvangen, Norway with a waterfall in view, was outstanding. Then from there, the Naeroyfjord cruise to Flam. What can I say? Too many memorable parts to choose just one.

Basecamp was a delightful place to stay, but my daughter says the husky ride! The staff were very friendly, and all had a good sense of humour. The inclusions like hot drinks, sauna use, snow shoes and x-c skis for our stay were really handy, as was all the kit we borrowed.
Tips?
Don't be afraid of the cold, it was -34 C when we were there and we were kept busy and looked after so we didn't notice the cold as much. I'm someone who feels the cold and I still ... (more)Rosalind Keen

Memorable parts?
Seeing the wolverines and bears very close. Also a view of 2 wolves and some close up views of owls.
Tips?
Be prepared to be locked up for 17 hours each day for 3 days. Hard work but incredibly rewarding. Easier if 4 of you in a hide as you can rotate sleeping and keeping watch.
Local benefits?
Yes benefits local people and helps to conserve the wolverines.

This is one of the most memorable holiday we have been on as a family of 5. We went there partly to see the Northern Lights. We did not see them but what we found there was so unique. Of course, the husky safari and the reindeer safari under the stars were clear highlights and 'once in a lifetime' experiences, but the most striking part of the trip was how warm and welcoming the local team was. The most memorable and exciting part of our holiday was snowshoeing 2KM in -30 up into the hills at 9pm at night to see the Northern Lights, It was so magical. Our guide was not only extremely knowledgable, but made it fun for all of us. Including my 9 and 10 year old boys who were a little nervous to start. (more)Sarai Carson

Definitely seeing the Aurora three times during the week was the highlight. The last time was spectacular, it was arching, dancing, circling overhead for h45 minutes as we lay on the snow during our night snow mobile Aurora hunt on the frozen lake. (more)Caroline Bullock
The dog sled tour was the highlight! (more)David Theobald
The highlights were the husky sled riding and snowmobile riding. Both out of my comfort zone but fantastic achievement to do. Also the snowshoe walk at
night was led by a lovely person who 'read' the group well. (more)Sarah-Louise Mitchell

The whole holiday was just amazing. I loved being able to explore the vast, white wilderness which was just the most quiet and peaceful place I have ever
been. Doing this via snowmobiles, skis, snowshoes and huskies was very special. Seeing the aurora twice during our stay, with a dancing, swirling light show on our last aurora camp, has to go down as one of our most memorable and special moments of our stay. I also need to mention the very friendly and knowledgeable ... (more)Angela Hancock
