1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The historic temple tour, market visits, and water festival were very nice. Phnom Penh tour guide was phenomenal.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
It is really HOT and sweaty. Be prepared for that.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
No idea.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
The tour guide quality was a big variable. Mr. Nara in Siem Reap was okay. The bird watching guide (who was employee of local NGO) who took us to Tonle Sap lake was definitely just doing bare minimum. He simply took us from point A to point B (tree house) and back. The bird watching guide the next day who took us to Koh Ker and Beng Mealea Temple was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a joy to be with. Guide in Phnom Penh – Ms. Sopheak – was terrific who understood well what we wanted and guided us really well.Read the operator's response here:

I’m so sorry that the bird watching guide in Tonle Sap Lake didn’t meet your expectation. Regarding the impact to local people and support to conservation, I would like to hear more of your thoughts on this. We believe that using local guide and local services like tuk tuk, boat, restaurants is a way to help local community. In my point of view, birding trips also help to improve knowledge and raise awareness of species conservation. As a partner of Responsible Travel, we really concern if our clients feel they benefit local community after their trip. I would much appreciate if you can spend some of your precious time sharing with us your opinions about this matter. I enjoyed seeing the old Khmer architecture. I enjoyed tasting the local food. I enjoyed the walks; be it on the historical sites or through the forests.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
