It's worth hiring a car from the Eco Retreat.The water at the water park in Costa Teguise was very cold (we went mid April). It was handy being able to order in some food. For most stuff paid for at the Eco Retreat there is a 7% charge for electronic / card payments. We took a load of cash to cover that - it came to about €900 with all the various things we added on, so 7% is a fair amount.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The hiking and surfing was fantastic. I wish I still windsurfed as it looked incredible. Lots of friendly and guest service minded staff at our accommodations and throughout the whole island.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Yes our accommodations was all about conservation, food scraps feed the their animals, lots of solar panels, recycling made easy, etc.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
