1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Interacting with our tour guides, chef, the bakery tour, vendors at the Christmas markets, and hotel desk staff. Anytime you actually get to talk with people who give you an opportunity to learn about their lives or share a favorite restaurant or local shop, it becomes memorable. I cannot stress enough about the quality of our guides in Prague, Nuremberg, and Paris. Lenca (spelling) , Prague, was simply charming. She went way above the call of duty, dealing with seven inches of snow and ice! While the snow was beautiful, the ice was treacherous! She was so open and willing to share aspects of her life, which gave us insight into what life in Prague is like. Our chef in Prague, , lost his name (Ugh), discussed family traditions and his culinary adventures around the world. Our meal was a highlight! I can't wait to make it for my family. Audrey, Paris, could not have been more interesting. I instantly felt a connection. She answered all my questions on politics, social norms, or anything else I asked. I appreciated her candor. John, in Nuremberg, was very informative. Very knowledgeable about the history and the area. It was great driving through the country. Plus, he was such a a patient driver. The bakery tour allowed me to interact with tourists from Great Britain and the US. We all had so much fun playing with dough and getting to eat what we made. I had two children in my group, which added to the experience.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

We picked the cities we visited, and as much as I love Paris, if you are really looking for Christmas markets, Paris isn't the best spot. The tour operator did an outstanding job. The most impressive aspect was their follow-through. On a late train, I received a text telling me what my next train option would be if we missed our connection! Each tour guide and driver texted, confirming our details. I felt like I was being looked after. The hotels were exactly what we were looking for: easy access from the train station and close to the markets. I actually loved the 10th in Paris. I felt like I was seeing Parisians, not tourists.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I like to think that the money we spent helped the local economy. I'm not sure how much we supported conservation and reduced environmental impacts. We used public transportation, walked, and didn't have our towels or sheets changed.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Delightful.
