1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Definitely seeing the gorillas was an unforgettable experience, but so many other highlights! Spending 2 weeks here in Rwanda has given us so much insight into this special country. Also our guide Jimmy, a wonderful guy - we have become close with him over the 2 weeks and shared lots of deep conversations and laughs!2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Get lots of cash for tips! You need more than you think. If you get Rwf out of a cash machine get it changed into smaller bills at a bank. You’ll need it!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes in many ways - financially we feel we have contributed through tourism, the national parks visits, hiring porters while trekking and tipping. We hope this has helped local people. I have also promoted Rwanda on social media by sharing photos4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
