Travelling with 11 strangers is never easy. Our group was very diverse in age, politics, nationality but you have to make it work. This is an adventure, not a holiday! Relax and enjoy the journey! (more)Jo Harvey
Being so close to the wild life and the sunset cruise on the Chobe... It was an amazing experience for me and a dream realised. (more)Caron Botha
Seeing the wildlife and Victoria Falls in one trip was the most memorable...Great experience! (more)Julie Forshaw
Memorable parts?
1.
The most memorable experience will unfortunately be the number of sick and dying elephants we saw in the Okavango Delta, specifically Hyena Pan. We were very distressed to see this including witnessing a sick elephant take its last breaths while down in a water pool. Our guide said he would call for someone to remove it from the pool so the other elephants wouldn’t be contaminated. When we first discussed the number of limping elephants with our guide it was first ... (more)Benjamin Katz
Where do I start... the people, the wildlife, the accommodation, the sunsets, the sunrises, dunking at the top of Victoria falls... it's difficult to choose but that first glimpse of a leopard in the Okavango Delta just quietly making its way through the vegetation that is something I will remember forever. After 50 years of international travel this holiday ranks with the best. I definitely
recommend it. Definitely the Okavango Delta. Spitzkopf was spectacular to be in. Travelling through Namibia gave a real feel for the rawness of the country. (more)stephen gapes
Everything on our NB21 camping safari was amazing. So many incredible experiences, it is hard to pick one. Also all of the people on the trip were so wonderful especially our guides Ali and Sipho. (more)Lisa Wertz
There was something special nearly every day, but for me the most thrilling experience was lying in the tent at night when we were camping in the Okavango Delta listening to elephants feeding round the campsite. (more)Ruth Law
On safari we saw leopards, a cheetah, elephants, zebras, ostrich family, wart hogs, a hyena, wild dogs, lions, kudos, red antelope, impalas, fish eagles and a range of birds - all close up. We were really fortunate to have Bibi as our guide as he is a brilliant tracker, driver and guide.

There were SO many highlights. Possibly the most memorable part was our 2 night stay in the Okavango Delta. A short but amazing helicopter flight over the delta (optional, at extra cost) gave us the perfect overview before our mekoro (poled canoe) journey to the island, where the so-called basic facilities proved quite reasonable. We had a wonderful holiday staying at 4 very different lodges. On a game drive from Chobe River Lodge, 2 male lions had a ‘dispute’ a few metres from our jeep - wrestling and roaring. (more)Susan Rosborough
The most memorable part of the holiday was the amazing wildlife in the Okavango Delta (more)Paula Newth

I have travelled to over 50 countries now, but this was the best trip ever. (more)Peter Lowles
There were many memorable moments. Camping in the Okovango Delta was amazing, and the walks around the delta meant that we could get really close to some animals without disturbing them. The sunset cruise on the Chobe River enabled us to see loads of elephants taking baths and they weren't bothered at all by our presence. (more)Tim Gregory
This was a trip of a lifetime. We did a bush walk through the Kalahari desert with an actual bushman! It was fascinating. I’m glad I did this trip before I get too old. (more)Karla Hansen
The three days at the Pangolin Voyager on the Chobe River...no TV, phone or WiFi, just out in nature with great service and food on board... Excellent. (more)Jaime Montilla
We loved it and would recommend it....Some of my favorite animals were ones I didn’t even know I would see.

Interacting with the guides and the locals - actually driving the country and really seeing/experiencing the essence of Botswana
Tips?
Be open-minded and engage - we thoroughly enjoyed our travel companions and each of the guides!
Local benefits?

Walking in the bush to see white Rhino in Matobo hills, Zimbabwe. This was a very special experience.
Tips?
Bring binoculars, sun hat and an open mind.
Local benefits?
Yes, we stayed in small lodges that employed a high percentage of local people and travelling in small groups has a low impact.
Overall rating?
This is a varied trip with many highlights, the wildlife viewing and standard of lodges exceeded my expectations. Our two Zimbabwean guides ... (more)Robert Jenner
Memorable parts?
I think we were very lucky with the wildlife we saw which was amazing and helped by being such a small group.
Tips?
Get accurate information about the accommodation, it’s type and exact location to make sure it’s acceptable to you and is value for money as our last night most definitely wasn’t.
Local benefits?
Sadly I saw little evidence of this other than the work being done by the national parks themselves. We always seemed to stop for food where there ... (more)Penny Chantler

Memorable parts?
Hard to say: the animals, the people, the landscapes, so many impressions.... Zimbabwe was very nice, the people friendly, the parks impressive, it was a nice
surprise. The people I met and travelled with were very nice too, as were the guides.
Tips?
Take something to listen to: there are long drives and the roads can be very bumpy, making reading hard.
Local benefits?
To an extent, buying some local goods, and visiting some sights.
Overall ... (more)Andrew Thompson
Memorable parts?
So many to chose from, we never imagined we would see such quantities of wildlife.
Tips?
Long days in the safari truck and some days not a chance to shower - which is fine but good to know in advance.
Local benefits?
Yes, particularly as they have suffered 2 years of no income.
Overall rating?
The most amazing and wonderful experience. (more)Michelle Kirby
A fabulous lifetime experience. Don't pack more than you need and bring enough money for tip's - you will want to tip more than you think. It's not until you have completed the trip that you realize the impact you can have. (more)Andrew Cairns
