1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The scenery on Day 1 was stunning. Haaheim Gard was a really lovely hotel. Excellent meals at all hotels. We enjoyed spending time with other people on the tour - we ate and cycled with a few of them.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Do lots of cycling in preparation or consider an e-bike. My husband is a serious cyclist (he cycles 30-40 miles most days) and so for him the route was not difficult. I cycle regularly- once a week - and found it challenging. Not the distance but the ascents. Day 1 we covered 37 miles with 3,000 feet elevation gain.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Mode of travel obviously had limited impact - bike. And some of the ferries were electric. Local people ran the cycle hire and were employed in the hotels. I assume the fish we ate most days was locally caught.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
A great way to explore an area we had never visited before. Excellent hotels and meals - lots of lovely fresh fish. Well organised - bags were picked up and waiting for us at the next hotel.Laura Bolger review 28 Aug 2022

We had a fabulous trip cycling along the fjords and catching ferries to the islands south of Bergen. The accommodation was varied and of good quality. The scenery was stunning. Highlight of the trip was our stay in Bekkjarvik Guesthouse and a five star meal provided by top Norwegian chefs !2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
The terrain was surprisingly hilly, and the wind was sometimes quite strong. Consider e- bike hire…We did and whizzed up those hills. Great fun.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

The Bekkjarvik Guesthouse is well known for its excellent cuisine based on fresh and local ingredients, making it a responsible choice as well. All our bike tours has the option of e-bike rental.

Pack rain gear. Pack layers. Use materials that are weather friendly, such as wool and Cool-max.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Well, we certainly spent money in Norway, so that helped. We also made connections with local people so they could learn about us. As this was a bike trip, we significantly reduced our environmental impact and did our part for conservation.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
