1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Baku as a very nice city - mix of architecture. Thought Heyder Aliyev Centre and History Museum were excellent. Fire mountain and mud volcanoes 'fun'. Also thought scenery of Nakhchivan is special and enjoyed my mountain climbs to fort and cave.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Weather very changeable - and often windy. Baku makes a great city break, exploring further is for the more curious.Exchange left over money before leaving -after border controls on third floor of airport. I was briefly confused by international flights at Terminal 2 and international flights being listed under Zone A and Zone B at Terminal 1.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Not really.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

It was nice being in a small group, and group working well. Hotels, meals and guides were good.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Everything. Very beautiful place, very clean and lovely people. Above all very safe especially for female solo travellers. The hotels were well placed, in the centre of towns. I had extra time before and after the trip. I felt very safe walking on my own in Baku in the evening. The food was delicious and very varied. All the food and soft drinks were included in the price. The guide and driver always ate with us and they confirmed that was the kind of food they would eat at home with their families.

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Very comfortable shoes / trekking boots.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Definitely, especially after the pandemic. Our guide and driver were local, all the restaurants we ate in were local restaurants and cooking locally sourced produce.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Fantastic and very well organised. The only thing missing was a local folk show and dance.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?

Baku at night with the flaming towers and other lighting effects. Also the mud volcanoes

2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?

Going at the time of year which we did was a mistake as the heat was rather overpowering.

3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

I am sure that the local people involved did benefit from our visit as it obviously made work for them. Conservation particularly of their historical monuments was very noticeable ie. Mosques and Churches.

4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

The holiday itself was well planned and our tour guide was excellent. Unfortunately as far as I was concerned I was ill for the first three days from a tummy bug, so did not get the same satisfaction as my partner did. However I cannot fault the planning of the itinerary and the reception we had from the local people.
