1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Balloon flight in Cappadocia. Stunning scenery.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
There is less free time than the itinerary suggests. Everything took longer than expected. You really need to enjoy ancient ruins as this is the major part of the tour.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We obviously used local restaurants, but apart from that not really.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Enjoyable, there is lots to see.Carol-Ann Quinn review 7 May 2024
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
Antaeus Cappadocia. The White cliffs hot air balloon ride, Gallipoli.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Bring your own hair dryer, they often don’t work, or work very badly.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Not really except for the obvious of course in generating $$ into their economy.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was good! Historically informative, the others in our group were great, our guide and bus driver were excellent. Hotel standards were very average, but at least most were clean.Joyce Neier review 18 Jun 2023
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
There is no one item. The trip included history culture, architect and nature. The guide was excellent; very knowledgeable showing us many extra things not on the program just to enhance the trip2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
We were on the move everyday day. This is not a relaxing holiday but an informative one. Be prepared to go and see everything3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I saw no evidence of that on this trip. The fact that we were tourista in many town's which based their economy on tourism I guess they benefitted but there was nothing specific items a school, well etc that was built because exodus donated anything to the village.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I think it was very normative and accommodating to us all in different waysRead the operator's response here:
Hi Joyce,
I hope that you are well.
I wanted to give you some responses to your feedback about your recent holiday to Turkey, in particular your comment that you didn’t see any evidence on the holiday of us supporting the local community.
We haven’t donated anything specifically to the area however we have partnered with RE:ACT who are an emergency and crisis response charity and they have helped with the aid effort after the Turkey earthquakes.
This holiday also heavily focuses on using local accommodation and visiting local restaurants to make sure our impact is benefiting the local communities the best we can and it goes a long way to helping!
If you have any questions or anything that you would like to add to your review please don’t hesitate to ask.
Best regards

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
First, wondering the streets of Istanbul. A few things stand out on the tour. Seeing the ancient city of Ephesus, can't think of any other ancient ruins to match. The day we spent on the Mediterranean on a hired boat. Although this was optional I think it should be included for an additional price. One of the best days we spent.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Expect lots of time on the bus. Also if you're not particularly interested in seeing Gallipoli skip it. Interesting but not worth half a day if you're not interested in that. History.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I feel neutral about this question. Of course we spent money and help the local economy. Don't think we did anything to support conservation.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
I would rate the overall experience as positive. There are a lot of things I would have done differently. But everyone has different requirements for their travel. I would have spent less time stopping between sites. I would have loved to have gotten to some of these cities earlier and had free time to wander around.Holiday Reviews
