Central America holidays
The respiratory system provided by Costa Rica's Monteverde cloud forests. The beating heart of Nicaragua and Guatemala's volcanic landscapes. Indigenous culture flows through Central America holidays, from Panama’s Embera to Mexico’s 60 Indigenous groups. And, with the Caribbean on one side and the Pacific on the other, water is an omnipresent force where life's a beach and Tortuguero National Park begs to be explored.

Waking up on the first morning and seeing a volcano outside the window. Rio Dulce area and the journey down the gorge to the Carribbean. The journey down the river to Las Guayacamas surrounded by thousands of yellow butterflies... Brilliant. Loved every minute of it and would love to return. (more)Lyndsay Long

We visited local artisans, coffee co-operatives, and a local Mayan community in Tikal. Some of the activities were 100% eco-tourism that directly supported efforts to preserve forests etc... Probably one of the most memorable holidays we have done. (more)Phil Todd

13 out of 10!...The boat tours at Tortuguero, the cloud forest at Monte Verde (including the optional hanging bridges and zip wire excursions) the optional mangrove tour at Manuel Antonio, and staying at Esquinas - all in terms of spending time soaking up, understanding more and appreciating the different types of rainforest and ecosystems and their flora and fauna.

It was an amazing experience and a holiday too. We fell in love with Costa Rica, its people, food, and wildlife. Tortuguero was amazing and we got up really close to a sloth. The 13 zip lines were exhilarating and the monkeys, iguanas and beach at Manuel Antonio were all high points. Too many high points really!
