1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The countryside with the vineyards and Cyprus trees.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
It could be hotter than one might imagine, take a hat.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, I think it benefited local people, and the hotel used only locally produced products.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
It was very enjoyable, not as much walking as a normal Walking holiday. One day in Siena, one day in Florence, three wine tastings so quite varied.Marion MacLennan review 11 Jun 2023
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The beautiful walks out of Bomerano, guided by the most delightful, knowledgeable and professional walk leader you could wish for.2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Try to get walk fit in the preceding two months, especially for the hundreds of steps up and down. It can be humid so can be very challenging. I think this walk should be graded a little higher. 'Moderate at a leisurely pace' is not strictly true as there are deadlines such as pickups and a boat to catch at particular times. Slower walkers feel pressured.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, supported local people and loca l businesses. Hotel power was fully solar generated.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Excellent. I have no complaints.Patricia Rojec review 23 Apr 2023

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
The views2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
It may be marketed as small group travel but it is not in reality. Make sure in advance you have a suitable room for sleeping. Even though I did not book a single supplement I could have got the horrible room If I had (just to myself). Room only would be good if you like heat, hated light and were under 5 ft tall!3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
No it was very busy in Amalfi anyhow so no real feeing of helping others. The environmental impact of travel is lessened for group travel though.4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?
Average. Dreadful accommodation if you are unlucky! Some had good rooms. Some did not (i.e. me). Had to pay another E200 for a decent room for last 4 nights!Philip Bell review 20 Oct 2019

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your holiday?
It was not that memorable2. What tips would you give other travellers booking this holiday?
Unfortunately the operator dropped the ball on this particular tour. A combination of a new inexperienced tour leader, dirty poorly maintained accommodation and inedible food. My expectation of the actual tour itself was different from the reality. No transport to and from town on days off. I would not recommend until the issues are resolved.3. Did you feel that your holiday benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Not at all4. Finally, how would you rate your holiday overall?

Thank you Ronda for your review, although we are sincerely sorry that you were so disappointed with your experience and that the trip did not meet your expectations. Our operations manager visited the property soon after your stay and she understands that you stayed in the annex of the property which is not usually used for our clients and we have been assured that these rooms will not be used again in future. We acknowledge that the standards of the food served at the accommodation has seemed to slip recently and so the operations manager has spent considerable time reviewing the menu and discussing the main issues with the staff at the villa and we are confident that they have taken this training onboard. In saying this, should we receive similar feedback, we will look at changing the restaurant for all our clients. We feel it’s worth mentioning that this trip usually received good feedback and so we were very sorry that your experience was not inline with this.

A wonderful mixture of fabulous walks through forests and vineyards, local history, culture in Siena and Florence, a fabulous cookery course in a nearby restaurant, and several most enjoyable and informative wine tastings.Holiday Reviews
