Difficult to pick just one - the Elephant Express from Dete to Bomani was a fabulous experience and never to be forgotten. Spending an afternoon in a hide by a waterhole watching elephants drinking and splashing around was amazing, as was walking out to where a small pack of wild dog were resting - under the

* We loved the boat trip out to Islas Dos Rocos - having lunch on the beach and being able to go straight from the eco lodge was excellent.
* The guided walk out of Sao Tome including to the Monte Cafe plantation was excellent - fantastic gentle guide who knew so much, and fun lunch, great day out.

Travelling in armed convoy up the west coast of Madagascar. Two Klashnekoffs up front and two at the rear.
Tips?
This is not an African safari. Prepare and manage your expectations accordingly - remembering that Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world.
