Togo holidays
A small country by African standards (about the size of Croatia) on West Africa’s Gulf of Guinea, Togo holidays & Togo tours take you on a cultural whirlwind. From the colourful markets of its capital, Lome, to the extraordinary earth fortresses of the Tamberma people, Togo really is a trip into another world, time and way of life. With plenty of highs, such as camping in the foothills of Mount Klouto and lows, physical ones, back down at sea level, where palm fringed beaches await.

The are two memorable parts to our trip (1) visiting the Temple de Python in Ouidah, Benin and having a Royal Python draped around my neck. I've had a
phobia of snakes for many years, but decided this was the time to conquer it (2) the Zangbeto voodoo dance.

It was fascinating to see the village and countryside. It was spoilt by the transport issue. But I’m glad I went. It was an unforgettable experience. (more)Diane Few
Very interesting and out of the ordinary. The guide Armstrong was really excellent. He flawlessly organized all the visits to the ceremonies and tried to add extra experiences and things that were not in the program. No time was wasted. (more)Laura Palmucci
We experienced many memorable events but the Voodoo Festival in Ouidah, Benin was the most exciting. It was very colorful and spontaneous. Numerous people went into trances and engaged in wild dances. (more)Frank Keen
Memorable parts?
The well behaved children. Given responsibility early like the 5 year old boy paddling his canoe, very self assured, or the girls of 6,7,8 with baby strapped to
their backs. They value their schooling.

Memorable parts?
West Africa is very different from the other parts of Africa that I have visited.
It was very interesting to see this completely different culture.
Most memorable, but not in a good way - definitely the hotels which which were by far the most awful that I have ever stayed in.
