Great trip, would recommend. The Taj Mahal and seeing a Tiger were the highlights, but other sites and wildlife were great as well. Also seeing real life India, particularly rural life, our Driver (Madan) was really informative and looked out for photo opportunities.

Memorable parts?
Seeing Orangutans was very memorable and exciting.
Tips?
Travel light. For the jungle have some spare clean clothes. Wear good mid height walking shoes not trainers, unsuitable. Lots of river crossings so trousers that turn to shorts are good & flip flops essential. Bring mints, chews, any small things you can share with the fantastic guides.

The UNESCO-listed walled, old city of Khiva, known as Ichon Qala, was the unexpected gem of this trip. Also, swimming in the man-made Lake Aidarkul in the middle of the Kyzylkum desert was a surprising and relaxing pleasure.
