Memorable parts? The walking in the Berwyn Hills, I haven't been anywhere that quiet in years. Tips? Be sure to pack a waterproof jacket and trousers. Local benefits? We collected trash on the walk, and provided custom to one of the local Hotels: yes. Overall rating? Really good, I left a review on Google. (more)Robert Moore

Memorable parts? The landscapes. The walking. The people met along the way. Tips? I discovered that given my level of fitness and my desire to wander en-route, and stop and explore, my ideal walking distance per day is no more than 10 miles. Local benefits? Absolutely. Overall rating? It was very well organized. Went very smoothly from start to finish. The accommodations were lovely. A few places could do with room upgrade but the people were warm welcome and ... Excellent....The spectacular views over Lake Padarn from the cottage. It's ideally ased for lots of varied things to do in the area. We visited the Slate museum (must do), walked around the lake, had a day at the beach on the Llyn and visited a castle (more)Toral Shah

Memorable parts? We were so well looked after. I didn’t have to make a decision or think about anything other than the running and yoga. It was such a release and a very lovely break for my brain. Tips? Bring comfy lounge wear for chilling out and be prepared to just switch off. As for the running. It’s tough (unless you are used to fell running) but made very easy by Tim. Absolutely stress and pressure free. Don’t be anxious (like I was). Reasonable fitness would get you ... (more)Pamela Parker

Memorable parts? Cantering on the hills and in the woods and finding a nice place to rest at the end of the day. Tips? Go only if you can ride sufficiently well, it’s not for beginners. Local benefits? Horse riding is definitely more sustainable than driving... Overall rating? Very good. (more)Laura Palmucci

A memorable vacation to a unique land. Our host was outstanding. He will cater to all flavors of veg, but we had no trouble getting him to feed us vegan or nearly-vegan cuisine. All delicious and filling. (more)Richard Stone
