Ideal for sporty travellers, or independent-minded folk looking to explore ‘the real Lanzarote’, these stylish studio apartments enjoy a tranquil rural setting that makes an ideal base for triathlon-training, mountain biking, surfing and swimming, running or country walks. A short drive Arrecife Airport, and the sandy beach at Famara, the village of Tiagua is a charming place with a famously good Canarian restaurant said to serve the best goat stew on the island!

Four self-contained and well-equipped apartments are housed in a main building that dates back 200 years, and have been re-styled with contemporary furnishings and fittings. With a nearby cottage (sleeping four plus sofa/cot bed) they share walled gardens, a swimming pool and a terrace perfect for lazy sunny afternoons, with a communal dining and BBQ area too.

Within easy reach you have surf schools, seafront seafood restaurants and a variety of quintessentially Canarian beaches – think soft golden sands, idyllic turquoise waters.

Weekly housekeeping is included should you prefer a longer stay. For convenience all guests are provided with off-road parking, secure bike storage and road or mountain bikes can be hired on request.

This is a fantastic option for those looking for an active stay in Lanzarote, with plenty of sporty activities in the surrounding area, and a fully equipped, comfortable apartment to return to every afternoon.

We are off grid and we do not generate enough power to have charge points but there is one in Arrieta close by. All the cars that we offer are hybrids.

Planet and people

Energy: We are committed to reducing our energy and find appropriate renewable energy sources. Throughout the property we have installed solar heated water, recycling facilities, solar heated swimming pool, low wattage electricity bulbs. We politely ask guests to turn off any electrical equipment or lighting when not in use throughout.

Water: We actively ask guests to truly consider their consumption of water given Lanzarote as an island and the importance of Water - desalinated water usage. Bathrooms are fitted with short flush systems, and showers through instead of baths - for example We also ask clients to think about their water consumption whilst staying on the island and to use water sparingly. We also politely ask guests to consider the environment when requesting change of towels and bed linen etc.Linen is changed weekly in order to save water.

The house was restored using local products, local workers and traditional building systems.We never use pesticides in our gardens. We actively encourage guests to walk to local supermarket, restaurants etc

Lanzarote is a small paradise for people who love nature and walking holidays. The accommodation is also perfectly located for cyclists who wish to explore the diverse terrain of Lanzarote by bike and is also very good base for Tri-athletes who wish to do their bike training during their stay. So ditch the car and jump on your bike!
