The Netherlands Antilles – sometimes known as the Dutch Caribbean – are islands found at either end of the Lesser Antilles island chain, which arches between Puerto Rico and South America. This Caribbean hub includes the ‘SSS’ islands: Saba, Sint Eustacius and Sint Maarten (the southern part of the island of Saint Marten), plus the ABCs – Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao. Sint Maarten is renowned in the sailing world, whilst the ABCs are best known for beachside relaxation.
